11 famous musicians from 6 countries will be taking part in this international event.
Taking into account the restrictions related to the COVID-19 epidemic, musicians and ensembles from Russia, Iran, Poland and Sweden have expressed a desire to be hosted at the first “Kanch” festival.
Performers from Armenia and Artsakh will also take part in the festival. Armenia will be represented by tar player, composer Miqayel Voskanyan, “Ardvin” ethnographic ensemble, and Artsakh will be represented by Artsakh State Choir.
Singer Yulia Menovshchikova and “Samovarye” folk ensemble will perform folk music from Russia.
“MINA” women’s instrumental ensemble will perform with exclusive participation. The “Sahbaye Kohan” ensemble will present the Iranian folk music school together with them. The master-class of the contemporary music will be held by the Iranian composer Arshia Samsaminia.
Torbjörn Näsbom, a friend of the Armenian people, a key-harpist from Sweden, will perform for the special “Kanch” festival.
The listeners of the festival can also enjoy the interesting performances of Zofia Tristuła from Poland, one of which is a surprise.
