The jury of the international festival has finished the selection of the participants, compiled the lists according to the age groups. As the founder of “Kanch” Davit Bakhshiyan informed, during the election the main attention was paid to the performance technique.
“There have been cases when the videos sent did not meet our minimum requirements. There was either a problem of quality, duration or performance”, he said.
The stage of accepting the applications of the festival participants ended on March 31. Given the limitations of the COVID-19 epidemic, the first “Kanch” takes place remotely. The young musicians aged 11 to 19 had the opportunity to send their videos to the jury. It was required to skillfully perform the musical compositions and to provide the minimum conditions for video recording. Applications were sent from 7 countries: Artsakh, Armenia, Russia, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Uzbekistan.
According to the approved application, three age groups were formed: Group A – 11 to 13 years old, Group B – 14 to 16 years old, Group C – 17 to 19 years old.
