Bazrkani is an ancient Armenian food, which is from Musaler cuisine. The word, probably, comes from Iran and the meaning of it is “merchant”. In Musaler it is known as the name of the shepherd’s meal. There are various kinds of Bazrkani.
Green olives (beaten) – 300-400g
Onions, garlic, parsley, thyme
Olive oil- 1-2 big spoon
Tomato paste- 0,5 big spoon
Nuts – 0,5 cup
Black and red peppers (minced)
Method of preparation:
Cut tomatoes, nuts, parsley, onions and garlic into small pieces. Mix them and add the olives. You can grind or leave them like that, as well( to Your taste). Add black and red minced peppers, tomato paste, thyme and olive oil. Mix the resulting mass and here we have the Musaler Bazrkani.
